Swimming pool in The Cottage Suvarnabhumi
I personally booked for 26 nights, but only stayed for 13 nights. But, when you consider it was only £320 (approx), inclusive of an all-you-can-eat breakfast, I really didn't mind. I should also add as of December 2021 breakfast was À la carte, as opposed to the Buffett style shown on the website. The staff were extremely friendly, and helpful. Most of the reception staff spoke good English which really helped. Surprisingly, the cleaning ladies also spoke reasonable English, and always smiled and said hello, while also being very efficient at their jobs. The hotel swimming pool was a bonus, but due to Covid, the pool bar was closed. Also, due to the layout of the hotel, the pool area only received sunlight between 9-11 am approx. Outside of these hours, you swam in the shade. If you want to soak up the sun on your balcony, don't ask for a poolside room, try the upper levels in the South Tower. The location of the hotel is also excellent. Opposite the hotel, you have laundry facilities, a small shop, and a restaurant a couple of doors down. Walk a little further and you have Robinsons Mall, which offers everything you may need to buy. The hotel is in Lat Krabang, so about a 10-15min drive from the airport. The taxi will cost you about £2, although the hotel offers a shuttle service i never used. I never visited the heart of Bangkok, but I believe depending on traffic, it would take about 30-40mins or so to reach the adult & entertainment districts. Overall, I highly recommend The Cottage.

After 24 hours of travel from the US, this was a great Hotel to rest my exhausted self. Perfect location less than 10 minute taxi ride from the airport. Staff was friendly and welcoming, room was clean and bed was comfortable. WiFi worked perfectly. Considering the price point of this Hotel, I thought the breakfast buffet was quite good with many choices. In the morning, before checking out and heading into the city, I also enjoyed some time in the pool- which was clean and warm. For those who have not visited Thailand, this Hotel is in Lat Krabang, which is not close to the main tourist attractions in Bangkok. Lat Krabang is mainly an area where people stay before or after long flights. Reviewers that complained about the distance from the tourist attractions did not do their research. I've been to Bangkok many times and stayed at several different transit Hotels. I think this one gave me the most bang for my buck and I will stay here again when I depart the Land of Smiles.

This is a good budget hotel near the airport. Shuttle pick up from airport was efficient, the room was very basic with a small bathroom. Room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the air-conditioner worked as it should, which is all we wanted for an overnight stay before our early morning flight home. We did not use the pool, but it looked very nice. It was nice to be close to a big shopping mall as we did some quick last minute shopping and there were lots of choices for a quick dinner at the food court. The shuttle back to the airport at 5:20 am went very smoothly too. We recommend this hotel if you want a clean budget hotel near the airport with good shuttle service.

really close the airport. very helpful staff, I messaged them asking for airport transfer to the hotel as I didn;t book it and they told me their representative was at the airport, gave me all instructions and got out ride to the hotel. I have to pay for it 2oo baht but it was easy and worth it. next day I had booked the transfer to the airport, all was smooth and easy. breakfast was nice and clean. nice waiting area and nicely decorated restaurant. we didn't have time enjoy the pool as we left early but it did look great and was just out of our room. we got a nice rest to end our holiday before taking an 12 hr flight. there are many options to eat in the vicinity.

Close to airport. Went to short distance taxi rank at airport . Fare 200 bhat to Cottage. Liked the design of hotel, the pool, the location was as expected in an area without nightlife but next door to a huge shopping mall with food halls for every taste . Clothes etc. electricals. I visited local temple Wat Lan Boon an easy 15 minute stroll away. Worth a look. I needed to get some vaccine PEP Rabies jabs done and staff found me a taxi and local clinic to give them to me. Very helpful staff. Breakfast was ok and I used the complimentary transfer to get back to the airport. I found a local night market close by as well. All worked great. Room and aircon all good.
